Hi, I’m Kia
A little about me…
I grew up on a cane farm in North Queensland, where my childhood was filled with wide open fields, muddy creeks, and barefoot adventures. I had my first kinesiology sessions at nine years old, and they had a profound impact, helping me manage dyslexia and regulate my nervous system so I could thrive at school. From that point on, kinesiology became a trusted part of my life, gently guiding me through different phases and challenges, both for myself and later, for my children.
Before stepping fully into this world of healing, I spent 17 years working in documentary and children’s television production. Storytelling was at the heart of it. That chapter taught me how to listen deeply, stay curious, solve problems creatively, and hold space for people to be seen. These are all skills I now bring into my kinesiology practice. The difference is, the stories I hold now are felt in the body as much as they are spoken.
I’m also a mum of two, who enjoying a moment of stillness (or not) on the kinesiology table. Supporting children is something especially close to my heart, because I know just how deeply kinesiology can shape a young life. I often think back to my own journey, from a little girl who struggled to read and write due to dyslexia, to someone who later built a career writing for television. It’s a transformation I never take for granted.
Kinesiology helped me find the calm, focus, and confidence I needed to learn and grow—and it stayed with me through so many chapters of life. That’s why I feel so passionate about offering this work to children. Every child deserves the chance to feel supported, understood, and connected to their potential.
Whether I’m helping someone shift out of survival mode and into a space where they can consciously create their life, or supporting the body to release pain and move with more ease, my intention is the same, to guide people back to their own inner knowing—so they can live with more balance, clarity, and a deep sense of worth.
